Joe was rescued 8 years by this group . He was adopted to a wonderful man who loved and gave Joe a wonderful home for many years. He recently passed away and had no family to care for Joe. So Joe is currently under the care of Paws Unlimited because there are no available foster homes for Joe . Although very much loved and well cared for by Paws, they also do not have a foster home available and is currently living at their kennel facility. We all want what is best for Joe.. He is 9 years old now and although he acts very young., he is in fact a senior dog. His chances of adoption do not way in his favor. He has no idea what happened to his beloved owner . He has no idea why the place he called home for many years is no longer his home. He loves to play and is a social dog and although his current caretaker does all she can to give joe what he needs, she has many other dogs to care for . We all agree Joe would do best in a home , whether it be an adoptive home or foster home. There are people who deeply love and care about joe who have offered to help pay for his medical care for life. Joe has to eat welness dog food bc he has a food allergy. Food can also be provided if needed. He is good with female dogs, unsure of male dogs or cats. For additional information please contact Krissie at 845 791 1386 or Shari at 845 336 7297 .
Harley comes to us from a shelter in KY that we work with. She is about a year old and 30 pounds. She came into the shelter and unfortunately had an injured leg that needed to be amputated. Once we saw her and heard of her story we knew we had to help her. After all she has been through she now is so deserving of a great home. She is in foster with another dog and a 9 year old child. We are so happy she is now with us in rescue but it is time for her to find her forever home.
